These slides summarise the conculsions from the working sessions at the ASSESS Simulation Leadership Summit 2026 Online Seminar, held on 11-13th of March 2026.

Drawing on the working sessions in AI, business value, certification, credibility, democratization, integration, and digital twins, this summary captures the main barriers to wider adoption of these technologies, including fragmented standards, organizational silos, regulatory bottlenecks, and the challenge of communicating value to executive stakeholders. Despite growing interest in AI and simulation-led development, participants consistently emphasized the need for stronger governance, clearer business cases, better interoperability, and more practical guidance for implementation. Across the sessions, a common theme was the importance of turning simulation from a technical capability into a trusted, scalable, and strategically integrated business function.
