The SGMWG PSE Focus team meet regularly to maintain the Verification and Validation (VV) and Management General MG) technical areas within the NAFEMS PSE Competence Framework.
The VV technical area contains competencies relating to implementing effective simulation verification and validation processes, including physical testing in supporting of simulation activities, code verification, solution verification and analysis verification.
The MG technical area contains competencies relating to managing the engineering analysis capability within an organisation including, quality Management of the simulation process, competency and resource management of analysis team members.
